If your 84 CJ7 has the wide track D30 axles (56" wms to wms), then your rear axle will be around 60". I'm not clear as to why you're asking about about the width of the D30. Semi-float axles, factory 35 spline shafts, 5 on 5 1/2" bolt pattern. That's what is under my '59 CJ-6 narrowed to approximately 58 1/2" wheel to wheel.
