WebI found a potential solution: make sure your NVIDIA control panel has the dedicated GPU set for the Teams application. This seems to be integrated graphics by default, leading to crashing. Disabling HW acceleration was a stop gap but I enabled it again and with my NVIDIA GPU running the app it seems to be working fine now.
